We will discuss your thoughts, questions, and ideas for the fall and spring semesters to ensure that your first-year journey is a good one. The Black Student & Alumni Welcome is designed to assist incoming Black first-year students and their families with their transition into Chapman and connect them with key campus resources and partners. Learn a few tips and tricks directly from our student panel as well as a small presentation by the First Year Experience student staff team. Welcome Commuters! Here, our new first-year commuter students can meet current Chapman commuter students. The Great Room is known as the living room of campus and welcomes all students, whenever they need a place to relax, chat, or meet new people. This is a space where commuter students can meet and hang out all throughout Orientation. You will receive your wristbands for meals throughout orientation at check-in. Please plan accordingly as we will not be able to check anyone in after 4:00pm. You will NEED to check in for both residence life and Orientation.
If you are a commuter student, we suggest you check-in for orientation before the start of the Commuter Student Interactive Panel at 2:00 pm.

You can check-in for Orientation any time between 8:00am and 4:00pm! If your residence life move-in time is in the afternoon, feel free to check in for Orientation in the morning.
